Patliputra University PG Admission 2019:- Patliputra University has invited online application for admission in Post Graduate Courses (PG) for session 2019-21. The admission in PPU in PG Courses will be provided on the basis of  Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) to be conducted by the Patliputra University. Latest 04/07/2019: The entrance exam dates for Patliputra University PG, UG Vocational course that was scheduled to be held from 05 July 2019 and 06 July 2019 has been rescheduled. Now this exam will be taken on 17 July 2019 and 18 July 2019 

Patliputra University PG Admission 2019- PPU PGCET 2019

The online application for admissions for the Patliputra University in PG courses have been started. The admission will be given on the basis of marks scored by the candidate in PGCET 2019.

The submission of “Online Application for Admission” in various Post-Graduate Regular Courses (M.A., M.Sc., M.Com.) in University’s Post-Graduate Departments and PostGraduate Centres running in different constituent Colleges, Post-Graduate Vocational Courses, M.Ed. and Undergraduate Vocational Courses in Patliputra University, Patna starts from 11th June 2019 (Tuesday). The important dates for PG admission and PGCET 2019 are given in below table.

Application Form

The application form for PPU PG admission PGCET has been released online. Candidates can fill the online application form from the official website of PPU. Candidates can fill online form for PGCET for PG admission in PPU from 11 July 2019 till 20th July 2019. Admission will be granted on the basis of marks scored in PGCET.

Fee for online application for admission in UG and PG courses:

  • Fee to be paid online only For General, BC-l and BC-ll students = Rs. 750/- (Rupees Seven hundred and fifty only)
  • For SC and ST students= Rs, 400/- (Rupees Four hundred only)
  • Late fine = Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only)

Eligibility Criteria For PPU PGCET 2019

For UG (Vocational):-

 

  1. Passed the 12th/ lntermediate examination with 45%o marks in respective subject
  2. BCA / B.Sc. lT:- 10+2 / l. Sc. / l.Com. / l.A. with at least 45% of marks. Mathematics as one of the compulsory subject in Class 12th.
  3. BBM / BBA / BASPM / BTTM:-1O+2 / l. Sc. / I.Com. / I.A. with at least 45% marks.
  4. BEWM:- 1O+2 /I. Sc. with at least 45% marks. Maths/Biology’
  5. Biotech / BIMB / BIOCHEM / BIOINFO:- 1O+2 / l. Sc. / l.com. / I.A. with at least 45% of marks. Biology is a compulsory subject in 10+2.
  6. BLIS:– Graduate in any discipline with at least 45% of marks
  7. PGDCR:- Graduation in any subject with 45% Marks

For PG Regular/ Traditional Courses:-

  • Passed the Bachelor Degree with 45 % marks in respective Honours subject/Major subject/Core course
  • Passed the Bachelor Degree with 55 % marks in Subsidiary/Pass course/ Allied subjects

For PG Vocational Courses (MBA, MCA, M.Sc. Bio-Tech., Environmental Science, M. A’ in Public Administration, Labour and Social Welfare)

  1. MBA:- Graduation with 45% marks in aggregate
  2. MCA:- BCA with 45% Marks, B.Sc. With Mathematics at +2 level
  3. M.Sc. Bio-Tech:- B.Sc. Bio-Tech./Botany/Zoology/Chemistry/Microbiology with 45% Marks
  4. M.Sc. Environmental Science:- B.Sc. With Botany/zoology/Physics/Chemistry/ Environmental Science/Engineering/any science grad uate
  5. M.Sc. Electronics:- Passed B.Sc. Electronics/ science graduate with physics/mathematics with at least 45% Marks
  6. M.A. Public Administration:- Graduation with at least 45% Marks
  7. M.A, in labour and social welfare:- Graduation with at least 45% Marks
  8. MLIS:- Passed BLIS
  9. For M.Ed.: Has passed B.Ed’

Reservation Rules: As per norms of Reservation of the Government of Bihar. Selection Criteria: The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks achieved in UGCET/PGCET and the choice of the college by the applicant (Merit cum Choice).

Admit Card

The admit card for PPU PGCET 2019 will be released online on the official website. The admit Card of PPU PGCET 2019 is scheduled to be released in 1st week of July 2019. The admit card of PPU PGCET 2019 will be released online on the official website of PPU. Candidates can download PPU PGCET 2019 Admit Card using user name and Password used during filling form. Admit Card is must for entry in exam hall. Admit Card will be released to only those candidates who have paid the fee for PGCET 2019.
